Playing Rival Schools: United by Fate on my Laptop

Has anyone of you heard about this cool game ever? Uhmm, "Rival School" is actually an "ancient" PS1 game, produce by Capcom, way back my highschool days. Err.. to wit, it's like 9-10 years ago (And im that as ancient as well, xD~) It's one of my favorite fighting game that can be played either Arcade or 2-Player style. The story behind the game is a fight and adventure of students of different high school campuses while they investigate a series of mysterious kidnapping of students from these schools, without knowing who or which school is the mastermind, the search for truth continues.

The reason why im blogging about this is that, come to think of it, it's been almost a decade since this had become extinct in the gaming community still I want to play this again. Yes, as i grow up, i never faltered to like this game, the characters. Haha. Wierd huh? Yeah, 'cos i really love watching Japanese high school anime characters with fighting abilities and powers wether in movies or stories. I've been wanting all along to look online for any sites where I would still be able to get the game CD for this, cos I heard there are new versions for PS2, I'm not sure with PS3. Problem is, i rarely got the time to browse online for games cos all my time were spent on facebook, doing reports, tallying customer orders and the likes.

And today was the moment I've been waiting for. I finally got the time to browse for games online. Although I was not able to look for spots where I would be able to buy a Game CD, still I was able to look for download sites. I downloaded the game in "ZiNc" version compatible for PCs. ZiNc?? Uhmm, to be honest with you, it's my first time to hear that word. I think it's how they reprogram gaming console games to be compatible with PCs. And I'm not sure what it means though. But I think it's like "Visual Boy Advance" software that makes GameBoy Advance games to be played on PCs. Anyways, yeah.. I started playing it today. I really love it. Im planning to download more games on my lappy the coming days using ZiNc technology. Kudos to ZiNc for giving me the opportunity to play again my favorite games way back the 1990s.. Hehehehe.
