Drakieness Recipe: Vegan Spaghetti in Turmeric Caulliflower Sauce




INGREDIENTS:
half kilo spaghetti
veggie meat, mock chicken or texturized vegetable protein (TVP) (optional)
white beans (boiled)
115g tomato sauce
250g spaghetti sauce
1 cup cauliflower flowerlets
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp turmeric
6-7 tbsp olive oil or canola oil
salt to taste

herbs for aroma (as desired): oregano, nutmeg powder, rosemary, pepper



DIRECTIONS:

Boil spaghetti al dente or otherwise, as preferred, and set aside. Heat frying pan in oil. Sautee veggie meat, add the turmeric,  1 pinch salt and the apple cider vinegar. Mix in the white beans (drained), tomato sauce, and spaghetti sauce. You can then sprinkle rosemary. Immediately pour in the cauliflower while still mixing the sauce. Now this time, stir in the spaghetti to the sauce. Enjoy!

Serving size: 8-10. Perfect for the Yuletide season!
